Pininfarina Battista B95

At this year’s Monterey Car Week, Automobili Pininfarina unveiled its B95 – the world’s first pure-electric, open-top hyper Barchetta. The simplicity of its flowing open-topped bodywork provides a dramatic modern interpretation of the classic racers from the golden era, while being underpinned by pure-electric performance. The ‘B’ in the name stands for ‘Barchetta’ as a nod to the eye-catching body shape and the ‘95’ signals 95 years from the time Pininfarina S.P.A was founded to the B95’s scheduled start of production in 2025.

Sources suggest the Type 135 will launch as a coupe in 2025 and later be joined by a roadster. Unlike the  Eletre SUV  and the  u...
